Andrew is a software engineer, turned entrepreneur, with more than 25 years of executive and general management experience. Andrew is a specialist in start-ups, turnarounds and companies that are treading water where he has a track record of delivering rapid profitable growth and successful exits. He has started 8 businesses during his career and has coached and helped dozens of others.
For the past five years Andrew has been using his expertise within Highgate Associates to help companies to grow and realise their value through trade sale as a Non Exec Director and Business Coach. He currently works with a number of businesses to support their successful growth and, where achievable, profitable exit.
Prior to Highgate, Andrew held a number high-profile business roles, spearheading major international sales and marketing initiatives for UK & US-based corporations.
Andrew founded the international operation of Vocus (NASDAQ: VOCS) in London and as International Managing Director grew it from nothing to a £multi million business with offices in the UK, Germany, Thailand and Hong Kong and resellers worldwide.
Prior to Vocus, Andrew founded Cyveillance International and built sales and operations both direct and indirect, around the world. Andrew has founded and run a number of software and service companies, notably spening 5 years in Hong Kong during the 90’s where he built and successfully sold a company from scratch.
Andrew studied computer science at Coventry University, speaks several languages, and resides in London. He is a Government Business Growth Service - Registered Growth Expert.

Ken is a seasoned corporate executive, with a background of over 30 years in international finance and operations, Ken has a strong history of structuring corporate financial offerings, including IPO’s and private investment deals, resulting in raising over $1 bn in public and private financings, and orchestrating over 100 mergers and acquisitions since the late 1980’s.
More recently Ken has been using his expertise working within Highgate Associates to help companies to grow and realise their value through private investment and trade sale as a Non Exec Director and Business Coach.
Ken is based in the US but travels extensively to work with companies requiring investment and mergers and acquisitions advise.
Emma is a highly experienced marketing professional with the proven ability to deliver global strategy to small and medium B2B companies. With more than 20 years experience in senior marketing positions and as an independent consultant, she has successfully delivered marketing at the highest levels. Emma is responsible for the Highgate Associates marketing and also works with Highgate clients to advise on marketing strategy and measurable operational marketing delivery.
Emma is also Managing Director of CMO Centre, offering part-time Marketing and lead generation specialists and into small and mid sized businesses. Emma has delivered Interim marketing management and project based consultancy services to a range of growth businesses for the past 9 years.
From 1998 to 2006 Emma was Global Marketing Director at smartFOCUS plc responsible for Marketing strategy and delivery through 7+ years of company evolution. The company grew from 12 people, an operating division of EHS Brann through management buyout, VC raise, IPO and acquisitions to an AIM listed company.
Before smartFOCUS she held a number of career development roles in software and telecoms companies. Emma holds a BA (Hons) Business Studies (Marketing Speciality) from Nottingham Trent University and a CIM Marketing Diploma.
Finance and Admin Director
Henk is an experienced executive with a background of over 25 years in international finance and operations. He has significant expertise in the areas of corporate finance, accounting, audit, tax, personnel and administration. Henk has started several successful European operations for US companies and since 1993 has been engaged by companies to actively build their businesses in Europe.
Henk’s strong history in starting and growing companies and structuring corporate merger and acquisition transactions allows him to bring strategic focus to his detailed abilities to run the day to day operations of any venture.
Henk has been working with Highgate Associates since 2008 and uses his strong financial background to support the businesses that need additional input on an advisory or operational basis.
